BPP Receives 3 Awards from Sustainability Excellence and Business Excellence Categories at SET Awards 2023
Banpu Power Public Company Limited (BPP), an international quality power generating company committed to providing sustainable energy, represented by Dr. Kirana Limpaphayom, Chief Executive Officer of Banpu Power Public Company Limited, (right), received 3 following awards from SET Awards 2023 presented by Dr. Pakorn Peetathawatchai, President of the Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET), (left).
- The Commended Sustainability Award, under the Sustainability Excellence category. The award honors a company with outstanding sustainability practices, robust corporate governance that considers all stakeholders, and a dedication to minimizing negative impacts while creating positive ones for society and the environment, all of which have contributed to the growth of the company.
- The Outstanding Company Performance Award under the Business Excellence The award is given to a company with outstanding performance, good corporate governance, and adhering to the regulations of the Stock Exchange of Thailand, and
- The Outstanding CEO Award under Business Excellence category, which presented to a CEO who leads a company to achievements, has moral values and visions, and prioritizes sustainability practices.
Receiving this prestigious award reflects BPP’s strong commitment in conducting our business in accordance with Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles together with fostering innovation in clean energy and generating long-term value for our investors and stakeholders under the “Powering Energy Sustainability with Quality Megawatts” concept.
The SET Awards is organized by the Stock Exchange of Thailand and Money & Banking Magazine and has been running for 20 years. The aim is to honor individuals and organizations with outstanding performance in the capital market as role models to inspire all those related to the Thai capital market, including management and employees who contribute to company’s development.
