Banpu Power Public Company Limited (BPP)’s Corporate Governance Policy and Code of Conduct Handbooks
The corporate governance implementation principles set out in these Handbooks have been used as guidelines in the companies where BPP is a major shareholder or possesses management authority. The principles are applied as the standard of business ethics in the countries where BPP plans to operate in the future. In its corporate governance implementation, BCL also takes into consideration the legal, economic and social conditions, as well as the corporate culture of its subsidiary companies. Furthermore, the company adheres to good corporate governance principles in line with international standards (e.g., CG Code or OECD guidelines). In formulating the Corporate Governance policy and Code of Conduct, the Board of Directors has overseen the approval and review of the company’s corporate governance policy to ensure its alignment with good corporate governance practices. The Board also supports communication and monitoring to ensure compliance with the company’s corporate governance policy.
