Summary of Qualification

Mr. Issara's career at Banpu Group began in 1994 as a Project Engineer in the mining business of Banpu Public Company Limited, where he played an important role in engineering designs for various projects, business development, and diversified areas of operations in the company’s mining and power generation businesses. In 1999, he was appointed Project Engineer at Banpu Power Public Company Limited (BPP), where he participated in the tasks of engineering designs in various projects, business development and operations management in the mining business, coal-fired and gas-fired electricity generation sectors. Issara has been a key person behind the success of BPP in the development of several projects, including the Tri Energy Power Plant, the BLCP Power Plant under Independent Power Producers (IPPs) scheme and Banpu Group’s own power plants.

With strong expertise in the power plant sector, Issara was assigned to develop the operation plan at the BLCP Power Plant, a subsidiary of Banpu, from the beginning of its construction in 2002 as a project engineer. He also engaged in several operational tasks during the commercial phase of the plant, including the management of main project contracts such as the power plant construction contract, operation and maintenance contract, coal and power plant purchase and sales agreements as well as plant insurance. His last position at BLCP was Contract Manager.

In 2019, Issara rejoined BPP as Vice President - Asset Management to oversee the company’s asset and risk management segment encompassing the operations and performance of BPP's entire power generation portfolio. Four years later he was appointed Senior Vice President – Power Operations. Throughout his career at BPP, Issara has played a key role in growing the organization, in particular the expansion of its power generation portfolio in both thermal and renewable energy to international markets such as China, Japan, Vietnam, the United States and Australia.

In April 2024, Issara was appointed Chief Executive Officer of Banpu Power Public Company Limited, a flagship company of Banpu Group that operates electricity generation businesses in 8 countries in the Asia Pacific region.

Issara graduated with a Bachelor's Degree of Science in Industrial and Mechanical Technology from Phranakhon Rajabhat University and a Master of Business Administration in Management from Ramkhamhaeng University.

Mr. Pilun Pochanart started his career with Banpu in 1992 as Project Engineer and has since been involved in several business development and management activities varying from coal to power generation. He had been leading the development of power and steam generation operations under Thai Cogeneration Co., Ltd. and Cogeneration Co., Ltd. until 2000, and later was assigned to a number of pioneering overseas energy projects, such as in Vietnam, Indonesia, Laos, Philippines, India, Pakistan and China.

Pilun is currently holding the position of Head of Power Business, China. The expansive power portfolio in China under his responsibility includes three combined heat and power plants, seven solar power plants and one high-efficiency, low-emission coal fired power plant project.

Pilun holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Chiangmai University and a Master of Business Administration from Sasin Graduate Institute of Business Administration of Chulalongkorn University.

Paul has more than 20 years of experience in the US power industry. He started his career in the organization that oversees grid expansion and operates the power market of California state. He had been involved in system planning and operation, market design, compliance, and regulations. Building on his experiences, he soon advanced his career in business development and power origination in a large-scale solar power plant development company. He also worked with a non-profit organization that oversees infrastructure expansion and market efficiency in the Pacific Northwest and worked closely with state agencies to support New York state’s clean energy goals and energy procurement. His tenure at these entities allows him to understand the market dynamics and drive Banpu’s strategies in the US.

Paul completed his doctorate in Electrical Engineering from Chulalongkorn University and spent two years as a research scholar at the University of Texas at Arlington. He also received a certificate in Business Administration from the University of California at Berkeley Extension.

Panuwat joined Banpu Power Public Company Limited (BPP) in 2008 at the BLCP Power Plant in Rayong Province and oversaw the construction and testing phases of a coal-fired power plant project in Indonesia. Transitioning from this role, he assumed responsibility for energy management within the Banpu Group, focusing on energy conservation and liquefied natural gas (LNG) application testing in mining operations. Collaborating with Hongsa Power Company Limited, he played a pivotal role in driving the power plant project forward, ensuring successful commercial operation according to predetermined timelines.

With 15 years of experience in the power plant business, Panuwat plays a crucial role in BPP's technical and engineering aspects. He oversees various critical duties for the Company, including technical and engineering work in China's Combined Heat and Power (CHP) plants, gas-fired power plants Temple I and Temple II in the United States, Nakoso IGCC power plant in Japan, and renewable power plants in Vietnam. In addition to his extensive technical knowledge, Panuwat also held a positions as Vice President - Asset Management and Engineering where he was responsible for overseeing the Company's asset management and risk management.

Panuwat completed his Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Process Engineering and Energy Technology from the University of Applied Sciences Bremerhaven, Germany.

His impressive contributions have been pivotal to the growth of Banpu group's gas and power generation businesses in the U.S., as reflected by his leadership as the International Head of Strategy and Business Development for BKV Corporation and Head of Strategy and Investment at Banpu North America Corporation.

Prior to his tenure at Banpu, Teerapat had experience with a top global credit ratings firm in managing a portfolio of corporate issuers operating in the oil & gas, power, petrochemicals, and utility sectors across the Asia Pacific region. He also brings valuable energy expertise from his involvement in global mergers and acquisitions (M&A) projects focused on upstream oil and gas.

Complementing his extensive career, Teerapat has earned a Master of Science in Entrepreneurship from the University of Nottingham, as well as a Bachelor of Engineering with Honors in Mechanical Engineering from both the University of Nottingham and Thammasat University.
